Diane Montgomery is a qualified teacher, chartered
psychologist and Emeritus Professor of Education at Middlesex
University where she was formerly Dean of Faculty and Head of the
School of Education. Professor Montgomery is Director of the
Learning Difficulties research Project in Maldon and Course Leader
and author of two distance learning programmes for Middlesex, the
MA SEN and MA SpLD. An EBD and MA High Ability Studies are in
preparation.
She has books published on Classroom Observation, Reversing Lower Attainment, Spelling and Handwriting: Spelling: Remedial Strategies: Educating the Able; Managing Behaviour Problems; Learning Difficulties; Classroom Management; Appraisal; Teaching Learning and Strategies - Study Skills; and Early Reading Skills.
She is a member of the government Advisory Group on the Gifted and Talented and Editor-in-Chief of the NACE journal Educating Able Children.
