Blair P Grubb, MD, is a Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics
at the Medical College of Ohio, in Toledo. A native of Baltimore,
Maryland, Dr Grubb joined the Medical College’s faculty in
1988, after completing training in cardiovascular disease and
electrophysiology at Pennsylvania State University. He has been
involved in research into the causes of fainting and automatic
nervous system disorders since 1988.
Dr Grubb has written well over 130 scientific papers and is co-editor of a textbook for physicians on fainting (Syncope: Mechanisms and Management 2E, Published June 2005). He received the University of Maryland’s Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1994 and the Medical College’s Dean’s Award for Teaching excellence in 1996.
