Rosemary A. Joyce is Associate Professor of Anthropology, and former Director of the Phoebe Apperson Hearst Museum of Anthropology, University of California, Berkeley. She was previously Assistant Director and Assistant Curator of the Peabody Museum, and Associate Professor of Anthropology at Harvard University.
