Kate Nash is Lecturer in Sociology at Goldsmiths College,
University of London. Her publications include Universal
Difference: Feminism and the Liberal Undecidability of "Women"
(1998) and Contemporary Political Sociology: Globalization,
Politics, and Power (Blackwell, 2000), and editor of
Readings in Contemporary Political Sociology (Blackwell,
2000).
Alan Scott is Professor of Sociology at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. He is the author of Ideology and the New Social Movements (1990) and editor of The Limits of Globalization (1997). He has recently completed co-editing and co-translating (with Helmut Staubmann) Georg Simmel’s Rembrandt: a Philosophical Essay (2004).
