Resources for Instructors

Telle Laser Chemistry Companion Site
Welcome to the Web site for Laser Chemistry - Spectroscopy, Dynamics and Applications by Helmut H. Telle, Angel Gonzalez Urena and Robert J. Donovan.

We originally had planned to be ready for the start of the academic year in September 2007. However, we underestimated the time it took to collect and check all exercises, to transfer material into the Web templates, and to test the compatibility of the pages with a range of the most common browsers. We now envisage having this site fully up and running by the middle of 2008. However, access to the site - currently hosted by Swansea University - will commence in April 2008 at:

http://pyweb.swansea.ac.uk/LaserChemistry-book

This Web site will give you access to all resources available for this text, including

  • High-resolution figures and graphs - these are figures from the text or complementary data graphs which benefit from higher-resolution and/or colour presentation.
  • Additional material - this encompasses some further details of topics relevant to the text but which were not explicitly covered, or addressed, and "hot-topics"of developments since the publication of the book.
  • Key references - we provide links to some milestone papers and selected Web sites which offer educational material related to the theme of our text.
  • Exercises - we endeavour to provide a range of exercises and worked examples for each chapter, some of which make use of data tables (we would not have been able to incorporate such exercises into the book).
