Richard J. Lewis, Sr. is a chemist with over twenty years of experience in air and industrial pollution measurements, industrial hygiene research, and toxicological and chemical information systems. He served as Manager of Information Services for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Mr. Lewis co-authored several major works with Irving Sax, including Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials, Seventh Edition.
