Making Contemporary Britain
Since the end of World War II Britain has seen unprecedented social and political change, and this new series offers short, accessible texts on the key events and issues of the period. The series, published with the Institute of Contemporary British History in London, will combine descriptions and analyses of specific flashpoints of modern British history with overviews of policy areas to provide students of contemporary history and politics at school and university with an authoritative collection of fresh and up-to-date material.
