PHIL COUSINEAU (San Francisco, CA) is an award-winning writer and filmmaker, editor and lecturer, cultural observer and TV host. He has published 26 nonfiction books and is currently the host of Global Spirit, Link TV’s “internal travel” television series airing on PBS stations in November 2010. Cousineau has also appeared as an expert on CNN, The Discovery Channel, and Fox News and has been featured on Voice of America, PRI's The World, CBC's Tapestry, Deepak Chopra’s Wellness Radio, and Public Radio’s At Issue with Ben Merens. He has been interviewed for stories in Time and Newsweek magazines as well as the New York Times. He was featured on multiple segments in the Hallmark Channel's New Morning Show and has been a judge for the Emmys, San Francisco Film Festival, and the PEN-WEST literary awards.
