Robert Ubell is the Executive Director of the Institute for the Advancement of Online Learning and Professional Education at Stevens Institute of Technology. Dr Ubell launched the school's first online graduate program, WebCampus.Stevens, and also administers the school's China program. Previously, Dr Ubell was president of BioMedNet and executive vice president for new media at Marcel Dekker.  He is an accomplished author, and has taught at MIT and Columbia's College of Physicians & Surgeons. He has been awarded grants from the Sloan, Hazen, IEEE, Mellon, Schalkenbach, and Russell Sage Foundations and New Jersey Virtual University.
