About the Author
John Hoschette is a senior manager with Lockheed Martin in Eagan, Minnesota, having worked previously at Northrop, Honeywell, and Loral. He has been an engineering manager for over 20 years, is an instructor with the Gordon Institute at Tufts University, and has lectured at the University of Arizona, Brown University, and Stanford University, among others. Hoschette is a senior member of IEEE and was the Vice-Chair of the Career Maintenance and Development Committee under IEEE-USA. In 2000, he was presented a Citation of Honor Award by PACE. He has published over 30 articles about engineering career development, and is the author of Career Advancement and Survival for Engineers (John Wiley & Sons).
