John Teehan is Associate Professor of Religion at Hofstra University. He holds a Masters degree in psychology, from Queens College, and a doctorate in philosophy, from the Graduate Center, City University of New York.  He is the author of numerous articles on the impact of evolutionary studies on morality and religion, as well as studies on the philosophy of John Dewey, and has lectured both nationally and internationally on these topics.
