About the Author
Kim Humphery is Associate Professor of Hisotry & Social Theory at RMIT University in Melbourne and is an internationally respected writer on consumer culture and the history of shopping. Kim is a regular media commentator on consumption issues and has been a keynote speaker at international conferences on consumerism and sustainable consumption. His previous books include the award winning Shelf Life: Supermarkets and the Changing Cultures of Consumption and his most recent media appearance was as a key commentator with the ABC Television series “Stuff”.
